Website Updated

For those of you who have been paying attention, you'll know that my photography website (texeiraphoto.com) has been having a few problems, primarily when being viewed using one of those Internet Explorer browsers. Well, after much anguish and confusion (and a lot of help from certain members of my family), my site is back up, albeit in a slightly different form. So, take a look and, if you haven't already, leave me a note on my blog letting me know what you think. And, as always, if you know of anybody getting married, let them know that you can get them a deal on a great photographer (I give everybody a deal).

It looks great! I left you a comment on your blog. I didn't want to leave this question there though! Do most people like dark backgrounds? That's the only thing about your blog I don't like. Not just yours - I don't like dark backgrounds. Partly I think because I have trouble seeing the words (odd since I'm only 39). I know a lot of sites use them though so I'm thinking maybe other people like it.

I like them. Photos look better on grey backgrounds (which is what the galleries are on). I think it must be your prematurely aged eyes...probably got them from dad.

By the way, do you get the impression that we're just talking to each other on this site?

Yeah I agree the photos look better. It's just the words. . . i think it is my eyes. I'm getting them checked in a couple of weeks.

Yes I do. Colleen does pop in occasionally. I had hoped for some participation from younger family members. So much for that whole social media dominated by younger people theory. I'd say snarky things about them but I don't think any of them are reading so it would be pointless. Oh well.

I just tweeted your photography site & scheduled a couple more tweets throughout January. While I'm not Neil Diamond I do have 350 followers so you never know. . . Did you put your site on Facebook? I'll link to it from there. Social media is reputedly fairly powerful. It could be a rumor though.
