Teaching Update

I received some good news yesterday from the Oakland Teaching Fellows program that I sent in an application for...I have an interview! That means I'm one step closer to being a high school teacher...which really is a good thing. I haven't scheduled the interview yet, but will do so tomorrow evening. The subject they would like me to teach is, not surprisingly, mathematics, which I'm okay with. It's not what I'd like to end up teaching exclusively, but it is one of the subjects that I plan to get credentialed in, so it's a good first step. I'll keep you all updated with the results from the interview.
